Hi,
We've been adding this new feature which allows people to answer emails
to Bugzilla and get comments added without having to launch the web
interface (or Deskzilla). Attached is an pathological example of the
abuse of this new feature.
Since comments can't be edited, this makes reading bug reports
particularly annoying, it's really aggravating for people like me who
browse bugs all the time. Granted, I'm one of those people who browse
bugs a lot but still, are there other people who, like me:
- feel that feature not particularly useful?
- feel it promotes bad habits? (having conversation on bugs in Bugzilla)
- feel that the side effects (occasional comments including the totally
of a long thread...) outweigh the benefit?
I'd be interested to know what people think now we've been using this
for some time.
Cheers,
- Philippe
