[Chandler-dev] profiling from the test menu

I'm spelunking through bugs assigned to me, and ran into Bug 4401: 
"Profiling from the test menu should capture more data".

 From Grant's original description:
> Currently, if you use the Start/Stop Profiling menu items to profile particular 
> operations in Chandler, we only profile CPIA event dispatch. This leaves off 
> time-consuming stuff like synchronizing blocks, wx event dispatch, etc. It 
> would be nice if this could be included.

Would tackling this bug be important or useful to anyone in the 
alpha3/alpha4 timeframe? If so, any volunteers? If it sits in my queue 
it will remain sadly neglected.
