[Dev] IRC server move - details

We will be moving all of our IRC resources from irc.osafoundation.org 
(our internal server) to irc.freenode.net.

The move will happen the morning of Wednesday, Feb 8th 2006.

Server name: 	irc.freenode.net
Channels:	#chandler			chandler discussion channel
			#cosmo			cosmo discussion channel
			#scooby			scooby discussion channel
			#osaf			osaf staff channel
			#osaf-notices		what used to be #babble - all bot and service 
messages will appear here

The current server will remain active with a MOTD set to warn people of 
the move and I'll be programming the bot "soup" to auto-announce to 
anyone joining a channel that the move has happened.

All of the log files will remain the same - the Freenode channel names 
are the same as our channel names and the bots will move wihout any 
issues.

The only thing that may impact some of you is nicks - you may find that 
the nick you have used is no longer available and you will need to pick 
a new one.  Once you have picked a new one, please register the nick 
with Freenode's nickserv (do a "/msg nickserv help" for information on 
registering - or just ping me) so that you can be identified with the 
channels.
