[Chandler-dev] build fails for newbie on Slackware 10.2

My libstdc++.so is still back at .5, so after adding 
.../chandler/external/gcc-3.4.5/lib to my ld.so.conf file I was able to 
bring up Chandler and shut it down again with no seg faults :-)

I note the splash screen looks a little funky without a border.  Also, 
there was minor font weirdness in one place, but still readable and 
usable -- sorry I shut it down so quickly I didn't even pay attention to 
where it was.  I'm running the BlackBox window manager.

Thanks for your help in getting me running so quickly.

Ummmm.... next question... Is this the correct forum for newb user 
questions?
