Also, it may be of interest to you that when I had 2 collections on the Chandler Server (1 uploaded {published} via Chandler Desktop and one created right there on the web application) *both* collection names showed up in the calendar app on the iPod when listing possible calendars (when viewing the calendar itself, the upper-left has a button labeled 'Calendars' which allows you to view individual calendars or all of them.
